This poster by Robbie Conal made a big impression on me during Iran/Contra. It’s called “Men With No Lips.” I remember Ollie North as being one of the men with no lips, but turns out I was wrong, unless there is another version of this poster somewhere.
The images of these rigid, old, powerful men with their dessicated faces and their invisible lips expressed how I felt about the Reagan administration and the men who ran it and controlled our destiny.

When I was very young, I knew Ronald Reagan. We atteneded the same church. He did have lips.
