I posted a photo of the view from Margo’s window in France, taken those many years ago when I visited her while she was studying Semiotics (those odd ideas we have when we are young!). She served me lunch by that same window, a nicoise salad and I provided the flowers. I can always be counted on to provide the decorations.

That’s me too, I “can always be counted on to provide the decorations”! Love your picture.
Brave Margo….Brave Nicole……Brava, Bad Girls…..going to Paris…..
Living in the south of France as I now do has not diminished the magic and charm of Paris. In the eighties when I lived in Montreal, there was a massive installation/exposition (the name of which I cannot recall) that reminds me of this. It recreated in three dimensions, sets from movies and projected clips from each genre on a wall. There was a fifties set, a horror show set, one with an immense red Cadillac convertible in a garage, another which was the Chicago gangster set. By far my favourite was the ‘rooftops of Paris’ one. We clambered up some stairs and found ourselves sitting on the tiles of a slanted rooftop, looking across several others while watching clips from French movies. The ultimate in romance. Sigh.
It makes me ache for the love between you and Margo that day in France, punctuated by that beautiful salad and those flowers– you are so blessed! La vie en rose!
What a perfect day it was!
I can never be counted on to provide the decorations.
NIC, i get it!
