Here’s A Card To Cheer You Up…

…whether it’s sequestration or five inches of snow.

When trouble comesinside

I just looked up Gail Collins to see if she could make sense of sequestration, and after I read her column, I still don’t know if this is the big one or not. http://www.nytimes.com/2013/02/23/opinion/collins-sequester-for-dummies.html?_r=0

Thanks for the link to Gail Collins. The column cracked me up at least once, which is impressive given its topic.

Yep. Some days – and some friends – are like that…..

I can’t decide which answer is best; actually, both are good. “I told you so.”

I broke my hand over an “I told you so.” years ago. Wore bell bottoms to the px during Franco’s regime. Remember him? Yes, that long ago. Anyway, women weren’t allowed to wear pants, slacks, etc. on base. I wanted to wear my bell bottoms, white, fit well. Wouldn’t let me in the store. My husband (now ex for many years) said I told you so over and over and over and over again. He was pissed, I was pissed. When he wouldn’t stop saying “I told you so,” I went off and hit him in the head a couple of times and well, sorry, how I do run on. Just had my coffee.

And Gail was funny. How do we take Congress seriously? How do we keep paying them? Sigh. What a world. Thanks Sylvia and Nicole.

I just want to say how much I love your drawing style, Nicole. Your pictures are fun to examine for the details.

Great card! And thank you so much for the link to Gail Collins – hilarious about a very aggravating subject.

What do you think about that?
