Every time I see a young girl with pink hair, I want pink hair.  Then a voice that I recognize as my own, yet hate, says, “You will look idiotic in that color.”  The other day someone told me that kids make their hair different colors with a kind of chalk you use to write on sidewalks.  How marvelous.  I can have pink hair in the privacy of my own home and then wash it out before I leave the house.
